Welcome to easifan. We connect fans to live, local entertainment, arts and sports. This Privacy Policy applies to your access and use of our mobile applications, websites, content management systems and other technologies (individually or collectively “Applications” or “our Platform”). Please read this Privacy Policy carefully as it includes important information regarding your Personal Data (as hereinafter defined) and other information. By accessing or using our Applications, you agree that you have read and agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, do not use the Applications.
Please refer to our Terms of Service to understand your legal rights, remedies and obligations when you access and use the Applications. Capitalized terms not otherwise defined herein have the same meaning as stated in our Terms of Service.

Privacy Statement
This Privacy Policy sets forth our policy with respect to information that can be associated with or which relates to a person and/or could be used to identify a person (“Personal Data”) that is collected from Users on or through the Applications. For purposes of this Privacy Policy, “Non-Personal Data” is any information that does not relate to a person and/or cannot be used to identify a person. We created this Privacy Policy because we take the privacy of your Personal Data seriously and want you to feel comfortable using our Applications. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully as it includes important information regarding your Personal Data and other information.
We may also collect Non-Personal Data as you interact with the Applications. The limitations and requirements in this Privacy Policy on our collection, use, disclosure, transfer, storage and retention of Personal Data do not apply to Non-Personal Data.
Collection of Personal Data
When you register to access and use the Applications, we collect Personal Data which typically includes (but is not limited to) name, phone number and email address.
We collect Personal Data when you voluntarily provide such information to the Applications, such as when you register to access the Applications, contact us with enquiries, respond to a survey or browse and use certain features or functions of the Applications.
We may also automatically collect certain technical data that is sent to us from the computer, mobile device and/or browser through which you access the Applications (“Automatic Data”). Automatic Data, includes without limitation, a unique identifier associated with your access device and/or browser (including, for example, your Internet Protocol (IP) address), characteristics about your access device and/or browser, statistics on your activities on the Applications, information about how you came to the Applications and data collected through cookies, pixel tags, local shared objects, web storage and other similar technologies. A “cookie” is a small text file containing a unique identification number that can identify your browser – but not you personally – to our servers each time you visit certain of the Applications. By allowing us to anonymously track user activities and patterns of use, cookies help us to understand User interests and enhance your user experience with the Applications. The use of cookies is an industry standard and many major browsers are initially set up to accept them. You can reset your browser to either refuse to accept all cookies or to notify you when you have received a cookie. However, if you refuse to accept cookies, you may not be able to use some of the features available on certain of the Applications.
When you register to access and use the Applications or otherwise submit Personal Data to us, we may associate other Non-Personal Data (including Non-Personal Data we collect from third parties) with your Personal Data. In such cases, we will treat any such combined data as Personal Data until such time as it can no longer be associated with you or used to identify you.
Use of Personal Data
We may use the Personal Data we collect consistent with this Privacy Policy.
If you voluntarily provide Personal Data to access and use the Applications, we will use your Personal Data to control and monitor your use of the Applications. For instance, if you supply Personal Data relating to your identity or qualifications to use certain of the Applications, we will use that information to assess your access to the Applications and to monitor your ongoing qualification to use the Applications.
If you provide Personal Data for a certain purpose, we, or in certain cases, Content Creators, may use your Personal Data in connection with the purpose for which it was provided. For instance, if you contact us by e-mail, we will respond to the email address provided. Similarly, if you use features of the Applications to communicate directly with a Content Creator, the contact information you provided will be available to that Content Creator to respond to your enquiry and you may receive electronic communications from that Content Creator, provided that the Content Creator complies with all applicable laws when sending such electronic communications.
We may use your Personal Data for internal business purposes, including without limitation, to help us improve the content, features or functionality of the Applications, to better understand our Users, to protect against, identify or address inappropriate use of the Applications, to enforce our Terms of Service, to manage your account and provide you with customer service, and to generally manage the Applications and our business.
Provided we abide by the current marketing preferences you have provided the Applications, we may use your Personal Data to contact you via email or SMS message for marketing and advertising purposes, including without limitation, to inform you about profiles or events that might be of interest to you, to inform you about news from a Content Creator, to develop promotional or marketing materials and provide those materials to you, and to display content and advertising on or off the Applications that might be of interest to you. Some of the ads you may see may be delivered by third-party Internet advertising companies or ad networks that work on our behalf. These third parties may use cookies or other technology to help deliver ads that are tailored to your interest and track their performance. This is commonly known as “behavioural” or “interest-based advertising.” See “Opt Out from Electronic Communications” below on how to opt out of such marketing communications.
If we intend to use any Personal Data in any manner that is not consistent with this Privacy Policy, we will obtain your consent subsequent to such collection but prior to such use.
Disclosure and Transfer of Personal Data
We will not sell your Personal Data to third parties, including third-party advertisers. There are, however, certain circumstances in which we may disclose, transfer or share your Personal Data with certain third parties without further notice to you, as set forth below.
We may share your Personal Data with our affiliates and subsidiaries, as applicable, for purposes consistent with this Privacy Policy. Our affiliates and subsidiaries, as applicable, will be bound to maintain any shared Personal Data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
We may share your Personal Data with our contractors and service providers who process Personal Data on our behalf to perform certain business-related functions. These entities may include our marketing agencies, database service providers, backup and disaster recovery service providers, email service providers and others. When we engage another entity to perform such functions, we may provide them with information, including Personal Data, in connection with their performance of such functions.
As we develop our business, we might sell or buy businesses or assets. In the event of a corporate sale, merger, reorganization, dissolution or similar event, Personal Data may be part of the transferred assets. You acknowledge and agree that any successor to or acquirer of easifan (or its assets) will continue to have the right to use your Personal Data and other information in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy.
We may disclose your Personal Data if required to do so by law to respond to a subpoena or request from law enforcement, a court or a government agency (including in response to public authorities to meet national security or law enforcement requirements), or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) comply with a legal obligation; (b) protect or defend our rights, interests or property or that of third parties; (c) prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the Applications; (d) act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of Users of the Applications or the public; or (e) protect against legal liability.
Storage of Personal Data
We may store Personal Data or Personal Data may be stored by third parties with whom we have contracted or to whom we have transferred it in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We take what we believe to be reasonable steps to protect the Personal Data collected via the Applications from loss, misuse, unauthorized access and use, inadvertent disclosure, alteration and destruction. However, no network, server, database or Internet or e-mail transmission is ever fully secure or error free. Therefore, you should take special care in deciding what information you provide to us electronically. Please keep this in mind when disclosing any Personal Data.
How to Access, Update, Correct or Delete your Personal Data
We only collect Personal Data from registered Users of the Applications (i.e. Fans and Content Creators). As a registered User, you have access to your account and your Personal Data that we are storing.
You can access your Fan account through our mobile application. You can edit and update your name and email address or delete your account by visiting your “Profile” page on our mobile application.
You can access your Content Creator account through our content management system portal. You can edit and update your name, telephone number or email address by visiting your “Profile” page in our content management system. To close your Content Creator account, please email your request to privacy@easifan.com.
We will consider and respond to all requests in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Retention of Personal Data
We may retain your Personal Data while you are a registered User of the Applications. You may delete or close your account in accordance with this Privacy Policy. However, we may retain Personal Data for an additional period as is permitted or required under applicable laws. Even if you or we delete your Personal Data it may persist on backup or archival media for an additional period for legal, tax or regulatory reasons or for legitimate and lawful business purposes.
Choices Regarding Personal Data
You have several choices available when it comes to your Personal Data:
You can browse certain of the Applications without providing any Personal Data (other than Automatic Data to the extent it is considered Personal Data under applicable laws) or with limiting the Personal Data you provide. If you choose not to provide any Personal Data or limit the Personal Data you provide, you may not be able to access and use certain of the Applications. For instance, you must provide your name, telephone number and email address to create a registered user account as a Fan or a Content Creator. Please note that, in accordance with our Terms of Service, you agree to provide true, accurate, current and complete Registration Data and will update Registration Data if it changes.
You can opt out from easifan marketing communications. All electronic communications from easifan contain an “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of such messages. You can opt out of receiving these electronic communications by clicking on such “Unsubscribe” link. You will not receive any marketing communications from easifan after you have opted out of receiving these messages. It may take up to forty-eight (48) hours for us to process an unsubscribe request. Even after you opt out of electronic communications, we will retain your Personal Data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Notwithstanding any unsubscribe election that you have made, you may still receive electronic communications from easifan in response to your requests or enquiries. For example, if you email us directly or by using the contact form in our mobile application, we will send our response to your email address.
We currently do not participate in any “Do Not Track” frameworks that would allow us to respond to signals or other mechanisms from you regarding the collection of your Personal Data.
Exclusions
This Privacy Policy does not apply to any Personal Data that you may include in Your Content (i.e. Personal Data that you contribute, provide, post or make available using the Applications).
This Privacy Policy applies only to the Applications. The Applications may provide, or Content may contain links to Third-Party Applications including, but not limited to, links to facilitate and enable the purchase of tickets. Links from the Applications do not imply that we endorse or have reviewed the Third-Party Applications. We do not provide Personal Data to Third-Party Applications. You agree that we are not responsible for Personal Data that you may provide directly to Third-Party Applications. It is important that you review the terms of service and privacy policies applicable to Third-Party Applications before providing Personal Data or other information in connection ticket purchases or other activities while interacting with Third-Party Applications.
To enhance user experience on our Applications, we may conduct research on User demographics, interests and behavior based on Personal Data and other information that we have collected. This research may be compiled and analyzed on an aggregate basis and this aggregate information does not identify you personally and we therefore consider and treat this data as Non-Personal Data.
Children
We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children under the age of thirteen (13). If you are under the age of thirteen (13), please do not submit any Personal Data through the Applications. We encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children’s Internet usage and to help enforce our Privacy Policy by instructing their children never to provide Personal Data through the Applications without their permission.
International Privacy Laws
When using the Applications, please be aware that you are sending information (including Personal Data) to our servers which may be located in Canada and/or the United States and may be connected to servers internationally. Privacy laws in Canada, the United States and internationally may not necessarily be comprehensive or protective as those in your country of residence; however, our collection, use, disclosure, transfer, storage and retention of Personal Data will at all times continue to be governed by this Privacy Policy.
Modifications to this Privacy Policy
The Applications may change from time to time so it may be necessary for us to make changes to this Privacy Policy. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time (collectively, “Modifications”). Modifications to this Privacy Policy will be posted on the Applications with an effective date on the “Updated” date at the top of this Privacy Policy.
In certain circumstances we may provide you with additional notice of Modifications by sending you an email or push notification about the Modifications, in which cases Modifications will be effective thirty (30) days following the “Updated” date or such other date as communicated in the notice to you.
Please review this Privacy Policy periodically, and especially before you provide any Personal Data. This Privacy Policy was updated on the date indicated above. Your continued use of the Applications following the effectiveness of Modifications to this Privacy Policy constitutes acceptance of those Applications. If Modifications to this Privacy Policy is not acceptable to you, you should cease to access and use the Applications (including browsing the Applications without creating an account).
